Hear yee, hear yee – another WordPress site launch has just gone off without a hitch and the newest WordPress site to roll out of the production yard is pretty and purple Conservatory-Designs.ie. This project was a revamp of the old site with the brief being to try retain the visuals of the old site whilst making it more modern and responsive. And that is what we did.
For this project the services of Elena Montes were also utilised. She provided the theme selection and art direction which gave us a guideline for the WordPress development and she then edited and touched up the images being used on the site. When a site is full of features and info it’s the little touches (like the banner overlay on the homepage images) that can help lift a site and make it look very sharp and coherent.
And, so what about those features? The site lists all of the conservatories, orangeries, sunrooms and garden rooms that ConservatoryDesigns.ie provide but it does so in a beautifully responsive manner. The sidebars are dynamic and will re orientate themselves depending on where the user is on the page. The main goal of the site is to get people to make enquiries and to get in contact with the Conservatory Designs team and so the call to action is prominent on all pages.
WordPress Site Launch – ConservatoryDesigns.ie
The site also features stand alone pages for YouTube videos and before and after photos. Given that it’s so important to give a nice visual representation of the ConservatoryDesigns.ie product offering a full page layout was selected for the before and after photos. This layout puts the focus firmly on the conservatories.SEO wise this site has been polished from an on-site SEO point of view and we’re optimistic that it is going to do very well for organic traffic. As part of the WordPress site build we included a server move to a reliable Irish host and the local hosting should pay dividends for local search traffic. It’s the foundational aspects of SEO that have become so important these days and all of these are factored in when we develop WordPress sites.
