Elena is a graphic and web designer who hails from Spain but lives in Dublin, Ireland.

She has been a graphic designer for a few years but had been lacking a website that allowed her to easily add items to her portfolio as well as maintain a blog. So, needless to say, the WordPress CMS was the CMS of choice.

Elena chose the premium theme for her site and outlined her design brief and website requirements. We then worked collaboratively on the design aspect of the site as Elena wanted to showcase her design skills. Each of the design services pages got a unique graphic which greatly add to the overall aesthetic of the site, as well as reinforcing her branding.

Functionality wise the site has social media integration throughout as well as a quick contact form present in the footer section. The site is easy to maintain and update and Elena has already started blogging. Her blogging efforts will aid the sites SEO. The site is also very quick which is always good for SEO. The site is also beautifully responsive and looks great on all platforms – check it out.

Personally this was an enjoyable project to work on with Elena. We have worked on a lot of design projects in the past with LadyUmbrella and Pyg Restaurant and wish her all the best with her freelancing. I’m sure there will be lots of overlap in future design projects and look forward to it.
