WordPress E-Commerce – BestLogs

BestLogs.ie are suppliers of kiln dried firelogs in Dublin and Ireland. They have had an online business for a few years but wanted to expand their online empire and so they got in touch for a an e-commerce WordPress site as well as some consulting.

For this project the services of graphic designer Elena Montes were enlisted and did the site mockups for the BestLogs. This allowed the client to get a full idea of what the site was going to look like once complete. Elena also has a keen eye for design which really helps lift the visuals of a site as well as the small graphics and illustrations that she adds.

This site is a full e-commerce site which allows BestLogs sell logs online and run special promtions for their online customers. Given the niche they are in the is scope for SEO dominance and sales since launch have been strong and trending up. One of the features I like about the site as well the mailing list integration. I’m of the opinion that all online businesses should have a mailing list as to not do so is missing a trick really.
