WordPress Web Design – Conservatory Designs
The Conservatory Designs website is a beauty – of course I’m biased but we’re particularly happy with how this site turned out. We got the call when the old Conservatory Designs site wasn’t performing as expected and had endured some problems with the recent Penguin and Panda updates which called for a new WordPress web design – and that’s what we did.
We rebuilt the site with new hosting and brought it in line with SEO best practices. For this web design project the help of graphic designer, Elena Montes Casado, was also enlisted and she provided theme selection, art direction and image editing and touch ups. Having her as part of the team was very beneficial and I think added to the final look and feel of the site greatly.

Aside from the special SEO attention that we gave the site we also crammed a lot of of functionality into it. There are prominent calls to action on every page to get potential customers to give the Conservatory Designs team a call. A big plank of the Conservatory Designs online strategy is the use of mailing lists and so the sign up form was given a lot of retail space on the homepage as well as site wide in the footer.
Since launching this site has done extremely well in the search engines which has resulted in us building more sites for this company. Peter Clarke, the owner of Conservatory Designs also had this LinkedIn testimonial:
“Rob has now delivered two new websites for us with another three on the way. The sites were delivered efficiently and on time. There is added expertise here which can be hard to find and invaluable to a company whose business is focused online. Rob understands the SEO process and has achieved outstanding results in a short period of time.”
