WordPress Site Launch – The Amazing StoryToys.com!
Posted on October 29, 2014
As WordPress site launches go this one for StoryToys.com, one of the leading kids apps developers in the world, this was one extra special! They have been top of the iTunes charts in their genre on numerous occasions and have won multiple awards and so to work with them and build their new WordPress site was a pleasure. So, lets talk about the pleasure.
WordPress Site Launch – The Amazing StoryToys.com!
The site is their new online hub and as such features all of their kids apps in an easy to browse kids app section which can be viewed by category such as early learning, collections, free apps and more. Once a user clicks into a particular app they are given dynamic reviews powered by Sensor Tower, an overview of the app in question, as well as a slideshow of some in app shots. Most importantly there is a prominent call to action for downloads, gotta keep that part simple.
The app pages also harness Apples Smart Banners where by users browsing with a device using iOS6 and higher can download and purchase the app with one click directly from their mobile. This is a real nice integration and I can see the likes of Smart Banners becoming more prolific across other mobile devices.
Also under the bonnet of this lovely site is a MailChimp integration for WordPress coupled with the added power of Ninja Popups so that StoryToys can create ultra targeted lists for future app releases, offers and events. This site has also got the royal SEO treatment and is already starting to climb for some of the keywords which have been targeted. Given the online reputation that StoryToys have and all the organic, natural backlinks that each new release acquires for them, this site should do well in organic search quickly.
WordPress Site Launch – The Amazing StoryToys.com Graphics
Whilst getting the SEO and the bits “under the bonnet” right the artwork which StoryToys produce and provided for the site is nothing short of breathtaking. The level of detail in some of their artwork, as well as the richness and depth (gah, sounding like I should be in an art gallery or something now but I really dig the graphics) is second to none. Check out some of my favourites below and make sure to visit the site to see more of the work.
Jelly Jumble – download here.
My Very Hungry Caterpillar – download here.
Good Night Mo – download here.
How great are those graphics like?
Anyway, lots more sites launches coming soon as myself and the WordPress Developers team find ourselves flat out busy. We’re working on another huge site which should be launching soon so in the meantime, check out those StoryToys apps!
Or, if you’d like a WordPress site of your own, then get in touch!
Got something to say?
